Culture Is
Culture is either intentionally created or unintentionally allowed. The environment we work or live in has either been intentionally led toward a direction or intentionally allowed to wander. Therefore, we can take certain actions to impact the culture, positively or negatively.
Culture is the intangible headquarters of happiness. It is where life-giving communication sets up shop. It is where encouragement flows freely, and appreciation is spoken fluently. Culture is atmospheric. Like a greenhouse for growth, a healthy culture causes fresh life to blossom and selfless service to shine.
Culture is a dichotomy. The dichotomy of culture is the driver, yet also the product. The dichotomy in culture is the instigator as well as the result. It is the cause and the effect. The starting gun and the finish line. It promotes and rejects. Culture powerfully influences the actions we take, and the actions we take powerfully impact the culture wherein we live and work.
Culture is a perspective. It is an absolute mind-game. It is the way we approach every situation. It is the mature mental makeup that chooses optimism over pessimism, positivity over negativity, winning over losing.
Indeed, the impact of this culture will create a group of champions who are persuaded that this is the only way to think, work, and live.
Is this the culture you strive for at home and work? I am striving. It is tiring at times.
Have a momentous week!
